Property Search

One of the more time consuming phases of the buying process is the property search or finding your property. While it’s relatively easy to locate an investment property, it’s far more difficult to determine whether or not the property makes for a good investment.

The first step is to discuss with you and clearly establish what you’re looking for. Once that’s done, we commence our search.

As Real Estate Buyers Advocates we use a well established and time tested process to research, locate and identify specific properties that meet your requirements and financial goals. We do not sell property and therefore are totally independent.

We literally ‘step into your shoes’ and do precisely what you would do – except that (in the majority of cases – given our extensive experience), we do it more thoroughly. Our objective is to conduct our property search with the goal being to match a specific property to your overall requirements.

During our property search we use a number of research sources. However this is only part of the process. Firstly we identify a general area, then a suburb (or suburbs) that fit your criteria, then a general location within that suburb and finally a specific street and property.

We never present or recommend specific properties to you unless until we have gained an intimate knowledge of the area, it’s property values and reasons why we are suggesting you buy into the location.

Depending on the area and our relationships with local sales agents, we are often able to source ‘off-market’ properties – properties that have not yet gone to market. This sometimes creates fabulous buying opportunities.

It’s important that you understand we work exclusively for you – the buyer and we are committed to achieving the very best overall property deal.
